Avolta has expanded its operations at JFK International Airport with a 15-year contract to provide F&B services at Terminal 4.
The deal, secured through HMS Host, comes shortly after Avolta announced an 18-year retail agreement for the new JFK Terminal 6, and a retail and F&B concession for 11 years in Terminal 8.
Under the terms of the latest agreement, HMSHost will open nine new restaurants in Terninal 4, including local concepts Manhattan’s Bessou, Dos Toros Taqueria, Chopt, Brooklyn Tea & Market and Villa Russo Café of Queens. These will be joined by Good to Go by JBF, a “fast-casual” concept as part of Avolta’s partnership with the James Beard Foundation. The new restaurant will open with a menu by New York restaurant Due Madri.
Avolta President and CEO, North America Steve Johnson said: “In a city renowned for its culinary scene, JFK has evolved into a dining destination in and by itself.
“We embraced the opportunity to partner with JFKIAT, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and our joint-venture partners to be a part of the evolution of JFK and make the journey as exciting as the destination for travellers passing through Terminal 4.”
The new openings, which will also include Eataly, Fieldtrip and Boqueria, will increase HMSHost’s operations at JFK. The company already has dining venues in Terminals 1, 5 and 8.

The North Texas Chapter of the National Women of Achievement, Incorporated presented its 2nd Annual Profiles of Prominence Scholarship Luncheon, honoring the “Hidden Treasures Within Our Community,” the extraordinary citizens within Tarrant County who have dedicated an enormous amount of time, caring, sharing, and working to improve Tarrant County and the surrounding communities where they live.
The National Women of Achievement’s mission is to encourage women and youth to maintain high moral, ethical and scholastic standards as well as to strive for excellence in the career fields of their choice. This endeavor is one that we as a community can join in together to help our women and youth achieve their goals.
